Examples of Creative Movie Poster Redesigns
One of the best ways to become a better designer is to practice. As Ira Glass once famously said, the best way to get better at creative work is to do a huge volume of it. And when you’re practicing design work, you get to design things the way you want them made – not your client, or your boss – and so it can be a lot more enjoyable. One of my favourite things to practice designing is movie posters, because there are so many different directions that you can go in, and so many different themes, characters or scenes that you could cover.
It’s also possible to create amazing, incredible movie poster designs that are often better than the originals. We’ve brought together a collection of some of the most creative, expertly redesigned movie posters to hopefully give you some inspiration. If you don’t already experiment with designing posters yourself, give it a try and see if you can create designs that match our collection – and good luck.
