Street style is everywhere. Started by the great Bill Cunningham of The New York Times, the trend caught on like wildfire, as fashion bloggers and photographers rose to new heights to conquer this particular niche of the fashion industry.
While street style photography is worth taking a gander at to influence your own personal style, it is often overlooked by photographers and designers as a real source of artistic inspiration. These images of everyday people on the street, however, contain a wealth of design ideas. From color, to texture, to patterns, to layers, depth, style and the human character, some of the best street style photographers are actually capturing a largely untapped piece of cultural history.
